The freeware catalogue : origin and approach

The free software catalogue is an initiative taken by the APRIL. This catalogue aims to promote and inform internautes about free software. We thank the APRIL for having given us the access to the content of this catalogue, so that it can be communicated to a large amount of persons.

The free software catalogue :

The project is leaded by the APRIL section in charge of increasing the public awareness. Indeed, the APRIL noticed a real need of the public about free software : where to find them ? what can they be used for ? or merely, which free software to use ? The free software catalogue is aimed at a large public and provides a clear and concise content on several free software, likely to have interest for expert users or beginners. A small description of the software and a picture of this software being used enable anyone to find the free software that meats his needs.

The free software catalogue (APRIL original version) in its original form is available on the wiki of the APRIL. On this wiki, you will have the possibility to contribute to the project.
